As usual, Series One brings you 3 premium cards in every pack – that’s 36 hits per box!

Look forward to the first 250 cards of the 2026-27 Upper Deck Base Set. It features 198 current stars, 49 Young Guns® rookie cards and three checklists. Iconic Young Guns® cards are among the most anticipated and popular rookie cards of every season, and the Series One checklist features several top rookies – Frondell, Martone, Hagens, C. Hutson...! Each box contains an average of six Young Guns® cards.

The parallel selection includes popular classics and very rare cards! Look for UD Exclusives® (limited to /100), High Gloss® (/10) and Clear Cut, as well as popular Outburst® parallels. Each box contains an average of one Outburst Silver parallel; also look for the much rarer Outburst Red (/25) and Outburst Gold (1-of-1)! Deluxe parallels are also available, limited to /250.

Long-time Upper Deck Hockey collectors will know to look for Base Set Variations, including the popular, long-running Snow Spray Auto Variation (featuring, for example, Klapka, Vladař, Vejmelka...). And that’s not the only one! This year’s Series One also introduces three completely new variation sets. We’ll reveal no more just yet!

The long-time collector favourite UD Canvas® features NHL stars and top Young Guns® rookies – an average of six per case (12 boxes). Series One includes the first 120 cards in the set. Each box contains an average of four UD Canvas® cards. Look for Black & White variations and Printing Plates used to produce UD Canvas® and UD Canvas Young Guns cards!

The popular plastic insert Population Count returns with a new design! Its grading-slab-inspired look features stars and rookies in seven print runs: /1000, /500, /100, /50, /25, /10 and 1-of-1 (Population Count 1). The lower the print run, the rarer the card! The set combines rookies and current players, including Shesterkin, Martone, Marner, Josi, Slafkovský... The final 30 cards in the set will be available in Series Two.

Dazzlers™ return for another season! These striking 2026-27 cards feature a new design and come in Blue, Pink and Gold. This 150-card set includes its first 50 cards in Series One. The checklist mainly features current stars, along with several rookies; more rookies will follow in Series Two and Extended Series. On average, each box contains one Blue version, while one Pink version appears per case. If you’re lucky, you may find the much rarer Gold version!

The popular UD Portraits® insert returns for its third season on foilboard, with a new design inspired by film posters. Series One features the first 30 cards, showcasing veteran stars and top rookies. Complete the 2026-27 UD Portraits® set in Series Two. Look for Speckle parallels!

The foilboard Sizzle Reel insert, celebrating the best moments of the 2025-26 season, is back! A QR code on the back of each card links to a video of the player’s featured action. Series One contains the first 35 cards in the set. Look for Speckle parallels!

Collect 30 more cards from the star-studded living set Holotypes (HT-61 to HT-90). These holographic cards are released just once per season and appear an average of once per 3.5 cases. The set features some of the biggest names: MacKinnon, Gauthier, Barkov, Hertl, Matthews, Scahefer, L. Hutson...

Foil “Soft-touch” finish. Glossy treatment. Eighteen players. Eighteen designs. Following its successful debut in 2025-26, the SP card set Bootleg returns! The checklist once again features the planet’s best players, joined this year by several new superstars and future stars. McDavid, Calrsson, Crosby, Pastrňák, Celebrini and more!

As always, S1 also brings a range of new themed inserts, including:
Debut Dates: celebrates the NHL debuts of 20 top rookies. Each card features the player’s first NHL game date, their opponent and a photo from that game.
Here We Go!: a photo-focused set showing star players – often rivals – facing off at the puck drop.
Look for Speckle parallels!

Also look for:
Electric Soul: beautifully crafted artistic cards, each showing a player in a single colour against a background in their team colours. Featuring the biggest names in the NHL!
Youthful Spirits: features 12 superstars, with each card set against one of 12 original paintings by award-winning Indigenous artist and storyteller Presten Warren. Each painting was created exclusively for this set and uses the featured player’s team colours. The result is a truly original collectible set!
Both sets have the same rarity and finish as Bootleg cards.

NEW: Stencils: a stylish new set with an extensive range of colour parallels, unlike anything you’ve seen before! The fronts use no traditional printing ink. Each card features a stencil-style portrait from the shoulders up, the player’s surname and the Upper Deck logo – all created using foil! The first 100 cards feature current stars and top rookies, with at least two players representing every team.
Look for colour parallels: Red (/399), Yellow (/199), Green (/99), Blue (/50) and Purple (/25)!
